INTRO
When I first engaged with Jupiter's ecosystem as a contributor, I noticed something that didn't match the scale of the product.
Jupiter was processing billions in trading volume. Its community spanned hundreds of thousands of users globally. Yet the design output telling that story was fragmented — no consistency across community channels, no dedicated designer owning brand and community work, and a team relying on random contributors for visual output.
The result was a brand that looked different everywhere it appeared. For a protocol at Jupiter's level, that inconsistency was a credibility gap.
No one had formally identified it as a problem worth solving. I decided to solve it anyway.

I didn't write a proposal first. I started doing the work.
I began producing design assets — DAO website, community graphics, event collateral, social visuals — at a quality and consistency that hadn't existed before. I treated it as proof of concept: show the value before asking for the mandate.
The work got noticed. After demonstrating consistent output, I formalised the concept — a dedicated design studio operating within Jupiter's ecosystem, funded and sanctioned by the DAO. I took it to a DAO vote, made the case, and won the mandate.
That became Jup Design Labs.

PROJECTS
Starting as a team of one, I gradually recruited and built a team of four designers —selecting for craft, speed, and alignment with Jupiter's visual language.
I established what hadn't existed before:
A brand/visual identity system that gave the team and community a single design language to work from
A social media design system with reusable components and templates that made output faster and more consistent
Clear creative direction and review processes so every asset shipped met the same standard, regardless of who made it
Ownership of product UX work including the onboarding experience, alongside the brand and community layer
This wasn't just asset production. It was infrastructure.
With the studio operating, we took on Jupiter's most visible moments.
CATSTANBUL — Istanbul, January 2025
Jupiter's first-ever community event. I singlehandedly designed the full event identity — badges, lanyards, floor plans, and environmental graphics for 2,000+ attendees. Every touchpoint was cohesive, on-brand, and built to make attendees feel they were part of something significant.

JUPITER AGGREGATE — Solana Accelerate, USA
Following Catstanbul, the team was trusted with Jupiter's side event at Solana Accelerate in the United States. A bigger stage, a bigger brief. Our work functioned as a visual ambassador — sparking conversations and setting a standard that stood out across the ecosystem.

NAMASTE INDIA HACKATHON — India
Jupiter's first developer hackathon in India. I led creative direction across the full event identity — mascot design, shirts, badges, lanyards, stickers — each crafted to reflect Jupiter's vision of growing the Solana developer community globally.

But the metric that mattered most wasn't a number.
Before Jup Design Labs, Jupiter's community encountered a different brand depending on where they looked. After — one voice, one visual standard, everywhere. For a protocol built on trust and community, that consistency wasn't cosmetic. It was foundational.
REFLECTION
Building Jup Design Labs taught me something no individual design role could: that the hardest design problem isn't the interface — it's the system behind it.
Identifying the gap, proving the concept without permission, winning a DAO vote, building a team, and shipping work that reached 100,000+ people — all of it required thinking beyond the screen.
I left with a sharper instinct for where design creates structural value, not just visual value. That's the lens I bring to every product I work on now.
